Sixty Plus

Bwana Yesu Asifiwe (Praise the Lord)! This is readily and repeatedly expressed throughout Tanzania—in times of trial and struggle, in times of joyful thanksgiving, in times of mundane and ordinary routine. Come and learn what we, in partnership with our Tanzanian companions, give thanks for! In particular, come and learn how we, as co-agriculturalists, are immensely enhancing the productivity, the livelihood and the dignity of Tanzanian smallholder

subsistence farmers via micro-financing! Come and learn what it means for us as fellow Christians to partake in these efforts. Come and eat! All are welcome to the potluck lunch and presentation on microfinancing at noon on Friday, October 13th. Presenter will be Cindy Wells,

Director of Global Mission, Western Iowa Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Come and share in the praise expression, Bwana Yesu Asifiwe! See you then and there!

Hearing Assisted Devices Available!!!

Another great addition has been added to First Lutheran. Hearing assisted devices were added this week for use by anyone needing assistance with hearing the

worship service better. The portable units will be kept in the office. Just stop in the office to pick up a unit along with earbuds. Each person will get their own set of

earbuds to store here at church.

Eventually we hope to have

little plastic boxes to store the earbuds in; however, until then please use the

provided plastic bag and label it with your name. A big thank you to all who were

instrumental in getting these ordered and installed. What a wonderful addition this is to First Lutheran!
